POPAI U Masters Program
The POPAI University Masters Program is an intensive, two and half-day curriculum designed to help you advance your education and build a community of colleagues to call upon as a lifetime resource. In addition to increasing your knowledge of the industry, the POPAI University Masters Program provides a fast track for earning the Marketing at Retail Certification (MaRC) designation.
The Masters Full Program provides 18 credits towards certification, making MaRC designation more achievable than ever. It is especially designed for those who have not completed the POPAI Master’s program recently and are new to the industry or looking to expand their knowledge about marketing at retail.
The Master’s Advanced Program is for those who have already completed the Master’s Program in the past few years. Completing the Advanced Program will earn you 12 credits towards MaRC designation.
Program Objectives- Convey a deeper comprehension of all aspects of Marketing at Retail.
- Offer an advanced program in a classroom setting designed to enhance the professional development of retail marketers.
- Develop a network of colleagues that attendees can use as a career resource for information about how Marketing at Retail can measurably impact sales.

- Prepare attendees to take and pass POPAI's MaRC exam.
The POPAI University Masters Program takes place over the course of two and half days of educational sessions. The sessions are small and provide an intimate learning environment that fosters the exchange of ideas and knowledge. All courses will be held in a classroom setting at the Double Tree hotel in Chicago, IL. Day one focuses on marketing at Retail, branding, consumer behavior, research, sales promotion, intellectual property protection and global retail trends issues. Day two includes sessions on design, materials, new technologies, and experiential marketing. A half day then follows, focusing on applying your knowledge from the past two days of learning to real-life activities such as creating marketing plans, critiquing designs, and reviewing marketing strategies and research.
